When so much new beer arrives at Holiday Wine Cellar, it’s easy to overlook a few great beers. To keep everyone in the loop, we take photos and videos of all of the new beer, cider and mead that comes through our doors. Today we received a heavenly amount of new brews, and you can see some of these items on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. For the rest, we have them right here in this post.

Among the new arrivals that weren’t posted on social media, Coronado Brewing’s Señor Saison, a Belgian-style farmhouse ale spiced up with jalapeño peppers and piloncillo sugar. This beer is perfect for pairing with Mexican food! Belching Beaver Brewery has brewed a pina colada-inspired IPA with pineapple and coconut called Great Lei, which even Elvis Presley would get behind. And how can we forget the charitable Tony Gywnn Hall of Fame Imperial San Diego Pale Ale from AleSmith Brewing, an imperial (stronger) version of their .394 San Diego Pale Ale. All proceeds from the sales of these bottles go to the Padre’s Tony Gywnn Museum that is currently under construction.

Angry Orchard, Deschutes, Coronado, Belching Beaver, Alesmith

Only half of the new beer we received Tuesday.

Moving out of San Diego and California altogether, Deschutes Brewery has released their Deschutes Foray Belgian IPA, a Belgian-style IPA featuring abundant fruity flavors such as citrus, apple and pear. Lastly, we have Angry Orchard’s Angry Orchard Hopn Mad Cider, a dry and bitter hard cider made with hops, a first from Angry Orchard.

Look out for these items the next time you walk into our landmark store!
